We invited clients to kick back and enjoy brews from Athletic Brewing Co. on us while they got a sampling of the best freelancers available for hire on Upwork. We curated award winners, high performers, and top earners from around the world, then made getting to know them more fun than a game of beer pong.

The New Rules of Work
When it comes to Upwork-related YouTube content, there’s no shortage of videos or influencers advising on how to best succeed as a freelancer. But the millions of people looking for real advice had nowhere to turn for a single source of truth. So we decided to bring that guidance directly to the people via the utmost authority on the world of work and Upwork: Upwork. With the help of real-life, top-notch freelance talent found on Upwork, we presented authentic, helpful advice in our crowd-pleasing animated series The New Rules of Work.
The New Rules of Work empowers its audience with helpful firsthand accounts from knowledgeable, accomplished Upwork freelancers, offering guidance, inspiration, and some candid fun. Utilizing top trends and insights of what freelancers care about learning, this series tackles themes like determining fair rates, acquiring essential skills for success, and finding job opportunities on the Upwork platform.
To date, the series has generated over 50,000 views, more than 1,200 hours of watch time, outperformed all previous Upwork YouTube content by nearly 300%, and we are set to run another season.
